My name is April

Along with my husband, Corby, we are newly minted empty nesters trying to figure out what to do now that our kids have flown the coop. With our daughter heading off to grad school in Arizona and our son cooking up a storm in culinary school, we suddenly found ourselves with a lot of extra time—and no one around to ask, “What’s for dinner?”

Instead of sitting around wondering what to do with ourselves, we decided to fill our days with adventure, great food, and probably too many wild ideas. Whether it’s road-tripping in our travel trailer, testing out new recipes, or just trying to keep up with our beloved Boston Terrier, Milo's naps, we’re embracing this new chapter with open arms.
